Sloyd Caapora Mirim

The Caapora Mirim  is a Sloyd-type carving knife.
 
It comes with a sheath made in collaboration by Marlon Machado. You can also buy these sheaths for your other tools.
 
The Caapora Mirim  has a blade of approximately 60mm, which may vary slightly upwards or downwards.
 
Details of Caapora Mirim
 
Blade approx. 6.0 cm made of 52100 bearing steel, hand forged and thermally refined. Hardness of approximately 62 HRC.
Handle made of Ipê Tabaco wood
Thickness of approx. 2.4mm at the base with distal thinning up to approx. 1.5mm at the tip. This makes it very versatile and a great detailing blade.
Sharpening made in stone over concave grinding at 28 degrees, which makes it a blade for general use, both for finishing and for more aggressive cuts
The blades come fully hand-sharpened  and ready for action.
