Blade Only - Caapora Mirim - Detail Sloyd

This is option only blade, without handle. When purchasing the blade, you will need to make the handle to use your tool.

The Caapora Mirim has a blade of approximately 60mm, which may vary slightly up or down.
 
By default the tool only comes with a simple protection. If you want, I also offer some sheaths that you can find at the store.
 
Remember that for your safety, if you choose not to buy the sheath, it is very important that you make your own sheath as soon as your tool arrives.
 
Details of Caapora Mirim
 
Blade approx. 6.0cm, made from 52100 ball bearing steel, hand forged and refined through heat treatment. Hardness of approximately 62 HRC.
8mm round shank, making the process of attaching to a handle very simple.
Thickness of approx. 2mm at base with distal thinning to approx. 1.5mm at the tip. This makes it very versatile and a great blade for detailing.
Sharpening made of stone over concave 28 degree roughing, which makes it a general-purpose blade, both for finishing and for more aggressive cuts.
The blades come fully sharpened by hand and ready for action.
