Blade Only - Araçari Chip Carving Knife

This is option only blade, without handle. When purchasing the blade, you will need to make the handle to use your tool.
 
The Araçari is a knife specially made for geometric carvings on small wooden surfaces.
 
It has an acute angle of 14 degrees and a secondary bevel of 20 degrees, perfect for fine, precise cuts.

Its thickness is between 1 and 1.2 mm.
 
By default the tool only comes with a simple protection. If you want, I also offer some sheaths that you can find at the store.
 
Remembering that for your safety, if you choose not to buy the sheath, it is very important that you make your own sheath as soon as your tool arrives.

Blade approx. 2cm, made with 52100 ball bearing steel, hand forged and refined through heat treatment. Hardness of approximately 62 HRC.
The blade tang is 6mm thick, making it easy to fit.
The blades come fully sharpened by hand and ready for action.
